By placing an order with us you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these terms and conditions. If you are unhappy with any aspect of these, then you should contact one of our customer service advisors before placing an order with us.
These terms and conditions and your use of our website are governed by English law and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English court. This does not affect your non-excludable statutory rights.
This website and our terms and conditions have been designed for use within the United Kingdom and under UK law. Whilst we are happy to consider requests for products and enquiries from outside the United Kingdom, we give no warranty, express or implied, that the use of this website or the placing of any order through this website from outside the UK complies with any applicable non-UK laws or regulations. Accordingly, any products or promotions not permitted under your local law are not offered to you.
A contract between the customer and Bo-Bjú for the sale of our products will only exist once an order has been accepted, processed and despatched (at which point the buyers credit card will be charged for the value of the goods despatched, plus postage where appropriate), and the goods have been received. This does not affect the customer's statutory rights.
A delivery charge will be added to your order value, please see delivery times and charges.

Conformity Of Goods
We take every care to ensure that the description and specification of our products are correct. However, while the colour reproduction of the products is a close representation, we cannot accept any responsibility for any variation in colour caused by the browser software or computer system used by you. Please also bear in mind that pearls and semi-precious stones are natural products and slight variations in colour and size may occur.

Returns Policy
If you are not happy with your Bo-Bjú purchases please return them to us within 14 days, together with a copy of the receipt and as per our Guarantee we will be happy to make an exchange or refund providing the items are returned in perfect condition and in their original packaging.

Please pack your items carefully as we cannot refund broken or damaged items unless we have been advised of such before the items are shipped. We strongly advise using registered post and obtaining proof of posting, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit. We regret we cannot refund the recorded delivery charge however you will not be charged postage for exchanged items.

Returns and exchanges in excess of 14 days shall be at the sole discretion of Bo-Bjú Ltd. Bo-Bjú cannot accept returned items that have been damaged through misuse, neglect, accident or intent however caused. Neither can we accept responsibility for or refund any goods damaged or lost in transit whilst being retuned.

Bo-Bju will not accept items for return or refund that were purchased 6 months ago or more.

Please note that for hygiene reasons we cannot exchange or refund pierced earrings.
Refunds for items bought as a gift can only be made to the original purchaser.

Please note this does not affect your statutory rights.

Please remember that pearls should never be allowed in direct contact with perfume or chemicals and that body creams, lotions and potions may all affect pearls and semi-precious stones.

Special Note Re. Stringing. The majority of our necklaces and bracelets are handmade, strung on silk and are therefore delicate and must be treated with care. We guarantee the stringing under normal wear for 6 months. Please note: Bo-Bju do not offer a re-stringing service.

Disclaimer
The Terms & Conditions and all disclaimers and other materials on this site shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and all disputes shall be referred to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts to which all parties shall submit.
Except in relation to liability for death or personal injury, for which no limit applies, the liability of Bo-Bjú Ltd for direct loss arising out of the use of this website, whether based on contract, tort, strict liability or otherwise, is limited to the total value of the transaction under which the claim arises. In no event shall Bo-Bjú Ltd be liable for any consequential loss whatsoever arising out of use of this site.
Any failure by us to exercise or enforce any right or provision of the Terms & Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
If any provision included herein, in whole or part, shall be found to be invalid or unenforceable (by a court or other such competent body) the validity of the other provisions of these terms shall not be affected.
Bo-Bjú Ltd reserves the right to vary the Terms & Conditions from time to time, without notice, as it sees fit. Such variations shall become effective immediately upon posting to the site and by continuing to use the site; you shall be deemed to accept any such variations.
We will not be liable to you or be deemed to be in breach of the contract by reason of any delay in performing, or any failure to perform, any of our obligations in relations to the products ordered by you, if the delay or failure was due to any cause beyond our reasonable control. This does not affect your statutory rights.

The contents of these pages (including pictures, designs, logos, photographs, written text and other materials) are the copyright trademark or registered trademark of Bo-Bjú Ltd or its content and technology providers or their respective owners. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. The copying, modification, distribution, reproduction or incorporation into any other work of part or all of the material available on this website in any form is prohibited save that you may copy, print or download extracts of the material on this website for the sole purpose of placing an order with Bo-Bjú Ltd.

Payment and Taxes
We accept online payment in a secure environment by debit or credit card. We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, Solo, Delta and Switch.
Payments on our website are made through Protx Ltd. Your credit card details are not seen or held by Bo-Bjú. Protx supply encrypted secure trading services and is used by many Internet retailers. You may contact Protx at info@protx.com.
Bo-Bjú Ltd offers customers a secure trading environment through Protx Ltd. Your debit and credit card details are not seen or held by Bo-Bjú, when you purchase online. For further information contact Protx at info@protx.com.
Payment can be made by cheque, made payable to Bo-Bjú Ltd, however please allow an extra five days for delivery as goods will not be despatched until the cheque has cleared. Please call us on 01435 866 846 should you wish to place an order and pay by cheque.
All prices quoted on this website are inclusive of UK sales tax (VAT) at the current rate.
If your order is being despatched to a destination outside the European Community (EC) then your sales tax will be zero (please see separate note VAT and Duty).
If your order is being sent to a member state of the EC then the selling price will include VAT at the current rate. The current rate of VAT is 17.5 per cent. Any customs or import duties levied once the package reaches your destination country will be your responsibility as we have no control over these charges and cannot predict these charges.

Is My Credit Card Information Secure?
We realise that online security is vital when you are placing an order with us and we use Protx to ensure this is the case and your credit card is safe.

Credit Card Security
Bo-Bjú uses Protx. All transaction information passed between the Bo Bju website and the Protx VSP Systems is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. No cardholder information is ever passed unencrypted and any messages sent to your servers from Protx are signed using MD5 hashing to prevent tampering. You can be completely secure in the knowledge that nothing you pass to the Protx servers can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information.
Bo-Bjú Ltd does not pass any information on our cutomers to any third party other than mail/delivery companies so that you order can be delivered. Debit or credit card information entered on our site will not be accessed by any unauthorised person or company, unless required to do so by law. Our site certificate is authenticated by Protx and uses secure sockets layer (SSL) 128-bit encryption. Any information that is passed to our fulfilment provider is transferred using SSL 128-bit encryption. Once your order has been transferred to our fulfilment provider's system all credit card details are removed from the website.
This encryption makes it virtually impossible for unauthorised parties to read any information that you send us.

VAT and duty
All prices on the site are quoted in pounds sterling (£) and are inclusive of UK sales tax (VAT). The current rate of VAT is 17.5 per cent.
Your invoice will include VAT at 17.5 per cent. If you live outside of the European Community (EC) we are happy to refund the VAT after your order has been dispatched. To request a VAT refund please contact our customer services department on 01435 865 011 or email sales@bo-bju.com.

All overseas deliveries are subject to local import duties and taxes that are levied once the package reaches your country. Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Please note that Bo-Bjú cannot be held liable for any local import duties and taxes.
